All You Need To Know About The Meteor Blast In Russia

I guess the most shocking news for the past 12 hours or so is the meteor blast in Russia which injured at least 1,000 people (the biggest since 1908). So, I thought it is a good idea to collate and share all the relevant news, aftermath footage and of course the memes that come fast and furious over the internet.

I know this is a serious news but we can't do much about it now except trying to figure out how does it (the meteor) escape the "eye" of NASA and giving no warning whatsoever until it hits earth? Or better still, look at the possible solution on how to defense ourselves from such future "attack"?

So, are you ready to see the real life version of "The Day After Tomorrow"?

Canal+ Commercials Than Better Than Many Full Length Comedy [Video]

Canal+ (meaning Channel Plus/More in English) is a French premium pay television channel launched since 1984. In view of its nature of business, Canal+ is famous for producing top-notch TV commercials throughout all these years (by BETC Paris). 

I first chanced upon one of the the Canal+ TV Commercial, Closet, today (even though this commercial has been around since 2011). I find it very interesting and in fact it's better than many of the full-length comedy that I've watched. It reminded me of the 1995's sleeper hit, The Usual Suspects (by Kevin Spacey) whereby you wouldn't know what's going on until the very end. COOL huh!?

With this great findings, I proceed to search through Youtube and uncovered a few other awesome commercials from Canal+ to share here.

Comic Strips With Doctor

Comic is a good source to temporarily release some steam from of your stressful busy schedule, be it study, work or simply house chores. Also. a nicely drawn and to-the-point comic strip can usually make you laugh out loud uncontrollably.

Happy Chinese New Year 2013 To All

Soon, all the Chinese around the world will be celebrating the Lunar New Year (10th Feb 2013 is the First Day of Chinese New Year). 2013 is the Year Of Snake (out of the 12 animals as per the traditional Chinese Zodiac). 

It's a great time for all Chinese to reunion with their family members and close friends on this start of the year (as per Lunar Calendar) and many sumptuous feasting, Ang Pow (red packets to be given to senior and children as part of the new year tradition) distribution and visiting.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish ALL a very prosperous New Year and stay healthy and wealthy!

The Super Bowl 2013 is over and The Ravens won the game! To be frank, I am not a fan of American Football but like the buzz of it. As expected, many brands and movie distributors took the opportunity to release their TV commercials and latest movie trailers/teasers on this big day, with one objective in mind i.e. to reach out to the massive viewers from all over the world.

 

Overall, there are more than 70 TV commercials/trailers/teasers being made just for the Super Bowl spot. Today, I am going to share my top 10 funniest commercials in Super Bowl 2013. Super Bowl - The Commercials and Memorable Moments [Video]

The Super Bowl is just around the corner. For all the American football fans around the world, this is the MOMENT. This annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL) is the highest level of professional American football in the United States. Do you know that the very first Super Bowl game, Super Bowl I was played on January 15, 1967, while Super Bowl XLVII, which will determine the champion of the current 2012 season, will be played on February 3, 2013.

A bit of history worth mentioning here, the game was created as part of a merger agreement between the NFL and its then-rival league, the American Football League (AFL). It was agreed that the two leagues' champion teams would play in an AFL–NFL World Championship Game until the merger was to officially begin in 1970.

With its huge fan base and the viewership around the globe, it is a perfect platform for major brands to showcase their commercials or for the movie distributors to release their latest teasers or trailers.
