Happy Chinese New Year 2013 To All

Soon, all the Chinese around the world will be celebrating the Lunar New Year (10th Feb 2013 is the First Day of Chinese New Year). 2013 is the Year Of Snake (out of the 12 animals as per the traditional Chinese Zodiac). 

It's a great time for all Chinese to reunion with their family members and close friends on this start of the year (as per Lunar Calendar) and many sumptuous feasting, Ang Pow (red packets to be given to senior and children as part of the new year tradition) distribution and visiting.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish ALL a very prosperous New Year and stay healthy and wealthy!

Why Is Ashton Kutcher The Perfect Choice To Be Steve Jobs?

If you have not already know, there is an upcoming Hollywood movie, jOBS, to be released in April 2013. It tells the story of the great Steve Jobs (his story from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century).

As this is not a movie blog and thus would not want to dwell too much into the movie details. What I would like to share is more of why is Ashton Kutcher the perfect choice to be Steve Jobs? Seeing is believing, I am sharing a few photos and video of how resemblance between Ashton Kutcher and Steve Jobs..

When Deadpool Met Classic Literature Characters [Photos]

If you are a Marvel Comic lover, I am sure you've heard of or seen the character of Deadpool. He is an anti-hero and first appeared in the Marvel Comic, The New Mutants #98 (Feb 1991) and have subsequently featured regularly in the X-Force series. 

Ok, enough of the "history" of Deadpool, a sci-fi character. The question is what would happen if the anti-hero, Deadpool met with the classic literature characters like Moby Dick, Sherlock Holmes, and Dracula etc? With the help from artist Mike Del Mundo, he has transferred his vision of these clashes into a series of comic book covers.

Forget about Mayan Calender! Forget about end of world! Just to borrow a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche (well known German Philosopher, 1844 -1900), "There is no fact, just interpretations!". On 22nd Dec 2012 morning, sun will continue to rise from the east, some of you will continue to wake up and go to work but most of you might be still sound asleep as it is a Saturday!

What Happen When Peanuts Meet Evil Dead? [Photo]

Peanuts (Charlie Brown) and Evil Dead are from two different era but they are popular at their own rights. Have you ever imagine what would happen if we mash them up?  

Not to worry, Justin Hillgrove has done the tough part for you i.e. in putting it in a mashup art! Charlie Brown is playing the role of Ash (from Evil Dead) and is battling with the "zombies" with a shotgun and chainsaw.

Daily Laughing Cue - 19th Nov 2012 [Photo]

Before I share the laughing cue...just like to share my view on happiness...

Sometime back, I read a news article with the headline "What Really Make Us Happy?". Of course, as usual, there is no conclusive answers at the end of the article which is rightly so as happiness is very individual and subjective. 

For example, you can be living paycheck to paycheck but still feeling happy because you have an inner richness. On the other hand, you can be filthy rich but yet do not feel happy because the happiness cannot be bought. 

To me, happiness is very abstract and we can't really come out with one standard model answer and apply it across the board. Instead, as long as we are focusing on our energy or effort in doing something, it could be something very small or big, we are experiencing the HAPPINESS at that particular moment.

What do you think about my definition of happiness?

At this moment, it is Saturday night in my part of the world and I just have a fulfilling dinner at home. As the saying goes, hungry man is an angry man! So, I am a happy man now! ;-)

I am back!

Sorry for MIA (Missing In Action) for the last 3 days as I was away for a business trip. Time flies and tomorrow is Monday again. Hope you all have a great weekend and are looking forward to the new week ahead.

Thus, today's profile photo of THE kid showing a "YOU CAN MAKE IT!" pose (which went viral in the social media) is very relevant for tomorrow's sentiment. YES! We all can make it! Just treat Monday is any other brand new tomorrow and you should be fine.
